On the 16th anniversary of Guantanamo’s opening, Reprieve and the Centre for Constitutional Rights are launching a global movement with one aim – closing Guantanamo for good.
We have a simple call: Guantanamo detainees must either be charged or released – and then this illegal prison should be closed for good.
We cannot wait until the end of the Trump presidency to close Guantanamo, so in the coming months our movement will be leading the charge and taking our fight to Congress, the Courts, and President Trump.
On 11 January 2018, we launched a joint legal action with the Center for Constitutional Rights to demand that Guantanamo detainees are finally given the basic rights they deserve. But we need to do more to get Guantanamo back on the agenda, and we need your help.
Sign up now and let us know how you'd like to be involved in the coming days, weeks and months.
