Join the movement: Close Guantanamo Bay

In the 17 years since it opened, the prison at Guantánamo Bay has become an enduring symbol of injustice in our time. It stands for torture, abuse and indefinite detention without charge or trial.

President Trump proudly announced last year that no more detainees would be leaving the prison – not even the five men already cleared for release. Some may die before they get the chance to prove their innocence.

In an increasingly busy news environment, abuses at Guantánamo have fallen off many people’s radar. We need to get Guantánamo back on the agenda and build pressure on President Trump to close the facility, once and for all. We can do it – but we need your help.
